Artist Arvind Kolapkar draws inspiration from the best that Indian culture has to offer. And that explains the generous use of bright colours, emotions, music and spirituality in his works.

Kolapkar, who specialises in portraits, says, "I like my paintings to look fresh and very Indian. That's the reason I avoid the use of neutral colours and prefer to use shades of red, blue, yellow and green."
